Cozy Winter Crafts - 6 week workshop - Ages 6-10

Thursday, January 8, 15th, and 22nd, and February 5th, 12th, and 19th, 2026
3:30 – 4:30 PM EST
In this 6 week afterschool workshop, students will learn about knitting, hand sewing, and other craft techniques. We'll be making knit headbands, fleece scarves and hats, collage lanterns and more!Class meets Thursdays January 8th, 15th, and 22nd, and February 5th, 12th, and 19th. No class January 29th.
Ages 6-10


Teens Yarn Club - 4 week session

4 week session. February 6, 13, 20, and March 6 (No class Feb. 27)
Teen Knitters and Crocheters come and join us for a weekly club to hone your knitting or crochet skills and make new friends. Bring the project you are working on or we can help you start a new one. Supplies and patterns included with registration. Basic knowledge of crochet or knitting skills required; assistance with projects and skills development provided by Jess and Arianna.

Intro to crochet

Friday January 9th 10am-12pm
Join us for an introduction to crochet. This class is perfect for folks who've never tried crocheting before, as well as those who are looking for a refresher. During this class, you will learn to chain stitch and single crochet as well as double crochet and some basic troubleshooting as time allows. Materials are included! All students will receive a crochet hook and a ball of yarn, though you are also welcome to bring your own supplies if you have something you'd like to use.
This class is geared towards adults, but children 10 and up are welcome to attend with an adult who is also registered. Maximum of 10 students.


Crochet a Hat

Friday January 16th 10am-12pm
Learn to crochet a hat in this 1 day workshop. This is the perfect class for students who've taken Intro to Crochet or otherwise have a little crochet experience, but are looking to expand their skills.
All materials included!
This class is geared towards adults, but children 10 and up are welcome to attend with an adult who is also registered.
Maximum of 10 students.


Intro to knitting

Monday January 12 6-8pm
Join us for an introduction to knitting. This class is perfect for folks who've never tried knitting before, as well as those who are looking for a refresher. During this class, you will learn to cast on and knit as well as some basic troubleshooting. Materials are included! All students will recieve a pair of straight knitting needles and a ball of yarn, though you are also welcome to bring your own yarn if you have something you'd like to use.

Make a rope coil basket

Tuesday January 13 6-8pm
Join Jess for a sewing class and learn how to make colorful, one-of-a-kind rope bowls using fabric scraps and rope! It's a fun, eco-friendly way to bring new life to your fabric stash while creating something truly unique!
This class is intended for folks who have a confident knowledge of machine sewing. If you're looking for an absolute beginner sewing class, please keep an eye on our schedule for future classes. Visible Mending: Thread Zeppelin

Thursday January 15 6-8pm
This beginner class will introduce you to basic visible mending techniques to use on jeans, pants, button downs, skirts, and bags. Visible mending is great for holes, stains, logos, and boring/tired garments. This class will focus on strengthening the worn area, and introduce you to basic mending techniques. There will be individual time to work through your mending questions. Needle, sashiko thread, and scrap fabric provided. Please bring an item to mend - a pair of old jeans works best. Please note, this is not a darning class, so skip the knits (no socks or sweaters).
Ande Tagliamonte is a textile artist and owner of Hand & Bobbin of Richmond, VT. Her work primarily focuses on using visible mending techniques to extend the life of well loved clothes, accessories, and household linens. Visible Mending II: Backstitch to the Future

Thursday January 22, 6-8 pm
This beginner+ class is for those who have taken a previous class with Ande or others who have experience mending. This class will introduce you to new mending techniques including transferring stitch patterns onto your garments. There will be time to work through your mending questions or stumbling blocks on your current projects. Perfect for jeans, pants, button down shirts, skirts, and bags. Take a look at your mending stash and bring that skirt that needs some TLC! Please note, this is not a darning class, so skip the knits (no socks or sweaters). Needle and sashiko thread provided. Feel free to bring scrap fabric but we will have lots to share.

Craft and Sip - Make Your Own Felted Dryer Balls

Tuesday January 20 6-8pm
Back by popular demand! We had so much fun doing this workshop in October, and it sold out so quickly, that we decided to do an encore!
Join us for an evening of needle felted dryer balls! Using yarn scraps and wool roving, you'll be able to make a set of beautiful, functional dryer balls.Dryer balls improve the feel of your laundry without single use dryer sheets and they shorten the drying time of your clothes, saving you energy! These eco-friendly powerhouses are easy and fun to make.Whether you're a seasoned crafter or just starting out, this class is beginner-friendly and a perfect chance for you to sip, socialize and make something special.All craft materials will be provided. BYOB.


Intro to SoulCollage®

Monday February 2nd 6-8pm
Get creative and get collaging! You don’t have to be an artist to make SoulCollage® cards and the process is fun, intuitive and easy to follow.
Facilitator, Jen DeBedout, from Blooming SoulCollage®, will provide lots of images and supplies to spark creativity. Jen will also share about the SoulCollage® expressive arts practice.
Have fun looking through lots of images from magazines, calendars and other sources and then cut out and glue pieces on to a 5x8 mat board (or larger if you like). See where your creative vision takes you!
We will create together in a supportive community while connecting to a process that develops creativity, intuition and self-discovery!
Jen DeBedout is a board certified music therapist with a private practice in Burlington and she is a trained SoulCollage® facilitator. She fell in love with the SoulCollage® process and loves to share it with others.


Mini Makers

First Saturday of the Month 10:00-11:30am $15
Mini Makers is a hands-on arts and crafts experience designed for kids ages 2-5. Caregivers join their child at many different crafting stations where kids can explore with all their senses and develop their fine motor skills. Each month, we’ll set up an assortment of ever changing craft opportunities so kids can explore colors, shapes, textures, and so much more at their own pace. Previous crafts have included: Collage, stamps, painting, coloring, beading, play-doh, slime, and more!

Donate Arts and Craft Supplies

We are now accepting donations by appointment only. Please click the link below to make an appointment and see below for our full donation guidelines. If you don't seen any available appointments, please check back. More appointments open each day.

How to make a donation and get store credit:

  1. Make an appointment at the link above and bring your donation in anytime on your scheduled day.

  2. We will email you your store credit amount and if you've chosen the option on your form, we will let you know if we have any items to be returned to you.

  3. Your store credit goes into your customer account and you can use it anytime on merchandise or classes! To use your store credit to register for a class, you can email us, or register in person at the store.

Donation Guidelines

All donated items must be free of smells and signs of moths or other pests.

We do NOT accept:

  • Home textile items such as bedding, curtains, tablecloths, etc.

  • Household decorations

  • Clothing - including clothing that has been cut up to be upcycled

  • Corks, pill bottles, mint tins, and other recyclables

  • Jewelry (intact or broken, though we will happily accept beads or pendants that have been removed from jewelry)

  • Partially finished craft projects (including partially painted canvasses)
