Intro to hand embroidery

Wednesday Sept. 10 6-8pm $20Join us at The Makery for an introduction to hand embroidery. This class is great for beginners or folks who want to get back into hand embroidery. We'll learn the most commonly used hand embroidery stitches like chain stitch, french knots, and stem stitch, and you'll leave class with a fun embroidered rainbow design of your own! Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own fabric items to embroider if you'd like.


Intro to Bargello - 2 session class

Monday 9/15 and 9/22, 6-8pm $40Join us for an introduction to Bargello, a fabulously simple needlepoint technique full of bright colors and bold patterns! Bargello is a great introduction to needlepoint techniques or a great one to add to your repertoire. In this 2 session class, we'll be creating small bargello pieces which will then be turned into small pouches (perfect for sunglasses or pones) or small plant pot covers. In session 1, we'll be covering the basic stitches and everything you need to know to get started and in session 2, we'll cover sewing and finishing techniques.All materials included

This class is geared towards adults, but children 10 and up are welcome to join with an adult who is also registered.


Make a rope coil basket

Tuesday September 23 6-8pm $35Join Jess for a sewing class and learn how to make colorful, one-of-a-kind rope bowls using fabric scraps and rope! It's a fun, eco-friendly way to bring new life to your fabric stash while creating something truly unique!This class is intended for folks who have a confident knowledge of machine sewing. craft and sip - Make Your Own Fabric Pumpkin Decorations

Thursday September 25, 6:00-8:00pm - $15Get a start on your fall decorations with these simple, no-sew fabric pumpkins. Make them in any size and style to fill your home with cozy fall vibes.Whether you're a seasoned crafter or just starting out, this class is beginner-friendly and a perfect chance for you to sip, socialize and make something special.All craft materials will be provided. Mini Makers

First Saturday of the Month 10:00-11:30am $15
Mini Makers is a hands-on arts and crafts experience designed for kids ages 2-5. Caregivers join their child at many different crafting stations where kids can explore with all their senses and develop their fine motor skills. Each month, we’ll set up an assortment of ever changing craft opportunities so kids can explore colors, shapes, textures, and so much more at their own pace. Previous crafts have included: Collage, stamps, painting, coloring, beading, play-doh, slime, and more!

All craft parties include:
-1-2 hours of a custom craft project tailored to your event and led by one of our instructors. - all supplies included!
-1-2 additional hours in our space for food, drinks, opening presents, and other activities.

Donate Arts and Craft SuppliesWe accept donations the 1st through the 7th of each month (Except October) only. If there are any specific items that we aren't accepting on a given month, it will be posted below:

How to make a donation and get store credit:

  1. Bring your items in the first week of the month (Except October) during our regular business hours and leave them with us with a donation form.

  2. We will email you your store credit amount and if you've chosen the option on your form, we will let you know if we have any items to be returned to you.

  3. Your store credit goes into your customer account and you can use it anytime on merchandise or classes!

  4. Please know, it takes us the whole month to go through all the donations we recieve the first week. We will try to email you with your store credit as quickly as possible, but it may be the end of the month before you hear from us.

Donation Guidelines

All donated items must be free of smells and signs of moths or other pests.

We do NOT accept:

  • Household textile items such as bedding, curtains, tablecloths, etc.

  • Clothing

  • Corks, pill bottles, mint tins, and other recyclables

  • Jewelry (intact or broken, though we will happily accept beads or pendants that have been removed from jewelry)

  • Partially finished craft projects

We DO accept supplies for a wide array of crafts, including but not limited to:
